You will need:
- 3/8 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/8 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 sq. melted chocolate
- 1/8 c. boiling water
- 1/8 tsp. soda
Step 1:
Cream butter and sugar. Add flour alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Fold in egg whites quickly and thoroughly.
Step 2:
To melted chocolate, add sugar and boiling water.
Step 3:
Then add soda and stir until thickened.
Step 4:
Then divide part in half and add chocolate to one half.
Step 5:
Bake at 180°C or 350°F for 20 minutes.
